Throw That Weight (Wait Around)

Capturing footage over a time period of April 2023 through November, Alice spent hours ideating the images and story behind this music video. It acts as an homage to years spent in activism where there is a whole lot of, "hurry up and wait," at direct actions. Further, the video acts as a love letter to each activist putting their body on the line in the fight for racial and environmental justice.

Alice wrote the vocal and horn lines for the song. For this video, she produced, directed and edited with assistance from her friends and loves Leonardo Brito and Justin Lewiston.
